Live Pure lacquered floors

Learn how to clean and take care of your Live Pure lacquered hardwood floor.

The latest surface treatment technologies used in Live Pure give it the natural appearance of untreated wood while also providing extreme resistance against dust, dirt and liquids. It also offers a higher UV stability than traditional paints and oils. This means that after laying and while it is in use, no other surface treatment or care is necessary.

Cleaning

Daily cleaning of Live Pure Lacquered floors are best carried out dry with a broom or vacuum cleaner. If you mop your floor, use BOEN Cleaner and clean with a damp mop. For more stubborn dirt, increase the dosage. Heavier dirt that is difficult to shift such as grease spots or heel marks can be removed with thorough cleaning. After this, treat the floor with BOEN Polish Live Pure.

Maintenance

BOEN Polish Live Pure was especially developed for the regular cleaning of varnished hardwood and wooden floors. It refreshes old and matt paint, protects it and gives it a silky matt shine and dirt-repellent surface.

Before using it, your floor should be clean and free of polish, wax and dirt. Apply a thin, even layer of BOEN Polish Live Pure with a sponge or cloth and leave it to dry. Only then should you put the furniture and rugs back in place. BOEN Polish Live Pure is also good for spot cleaning.

How often should you use this product?

For floors subject to low stress, e.g. in bedrooms and living rooms: approx. once a year. For floors subject to medium stress, e.g. in corridors or offices with people coming and going: approx. twice a year depending on frequency of use.
