In the Danish harbour town of Svendborg, the Thurinerhusene project has brought seven multi-family houses to life, offering breathtaking water views. Designed to embrace the natural surroundings, these homes prioritise light, space, and sustainability, creating a serene retreat by the sea. Using natural materials was a key architectural focus, ensuring the interiors feel as harmonious as the landscape beyond.
To complement this vision, our Castle Planks were chosen, along with Chaletino if additionally desired, adding warmth and character to the bright, open spaces. With its lively grain and soft tones, the flooring enhances the connection to nature, reflecting the shifting light throughout the day. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, our planks carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which was specially requested for this project, a prestigious Scandinavian certification for sustainable production. This label guarantees a reduced climate impact, a commitment to circular economy principles, and the absence of harmful substances.
