Cleaning & care for surfaces with Live Pure™
Live Pure™ is an innovative surface that delivers an ultra-matt finish and excellent protection simultaneously. Its natural look makes the floor appear almost like untreated wood while providing the parquet with excellent protection against dust, dirt and liquids. Live Pure™ also offers better UV stability than conventional surfaces.
Cleaning
Using a soft broom or a vacuum cleaner with a parquet attachment is enough to remove dust and dirt as part of everyday cleaning. To mop your f loor, use Cleaner (add 25 ml per 5 litres of water) and wipe the floor damp. If there is severe soiling, increase the amount you add (50 ml per 5 litres of water). Deep cleaning can remove serious, stubborn stains like grease or heel marks. We recommend the Deep Clean Solution for this. After cleaning, treat your parquet with the Polish Live Pure™ & Live Matt Plus.
Care
We recommend the Polish Live Pure™ & Live Matt Plus for regular care of Live Pure™ lacquered parquet and wooden floors. This freshens the old lacquer, protecting it and providing a surface that repels dirt.
Before use, the floor must be dry, clean, and free of polish or wax. Using a sponge or a cloth, apply a thin, even coat of the Polish Live Pure™ & Live Matt Plus. Let the surface dry well before placing furniture, carpets, and other objects back onto the floor.
How often should I perform this treatment?
For moderately-used floors, e.g. in bedrooms and living rooms: once a year.
For floors with moderate to heavy use, e.g. in hallways or office spaces with public traffic: twice a year, depending on the intensity of use.
Intensive cleaning and spot removal
Our Cleaner, or a non-abrasive household cleaning agent, is the best solution for removing stubborn stains (wine, fruits, berries, juice, cream, soft drinks, beer, coffee, tea).
Shoe polish, sole rubber, tar, asphalt, oil, grease or chocolate stains can be removed using cleaning benzine (in small quantities, approx. 0.02 cl).
Pen, printing and other ink, as well as lipstick, can be removed using alcohol (in small quantities, approx. 0.02 cl).
The easiest way to remove blood stains is by using cold water.
Public spaces
Floors used in high-traffic areas, such as restaurants, department stores, stairs, and hotel entrances, require weekly care. If the floor is worn out, we recommend sanding it off and completely re-lacquering it.
