An important choice

By Guest Blogger  –

Nice details of Jannicke`s living room
When we started the process of building our house, one of the most important choices was deciding which flooring we should have.
For me it was important that the floor uplifted the overall impression and enhanced
the other elements in the house; like the colours that we wanted on the walls, and
the mood we wanted for our home.

There is always someone asking us about our floor, and I understand that we are not
the only homeowners who think the process of choosing the right floor is a big
decision. I hope this post can provide some guidance and help others when it
comes to choosing the right floor.

We decided to go for BOEN when we were choosing our floor, simply because they
had our dream floor, Oak Pearl Live Natural oil, white pigmented. We choose the
widest planks that are 20,9 cm. This flooring is timeless, classic and beautiful. It is
classic in width, and timeless in colour. The flooring has a clean expression, and goes
very well with the cold and dark wall colours in our home. Our living room has two
walls with Aimfohappiness blue and in our bedroom on the same level,
we have two walls with Aimforhappiness green. We have sliding doors in all our
rooms, and they are always open so that the flooring “flows” between the rooms.
This gives the impression of an extended room, and the focal point becomes the
beautiful planks.

When I have taken photos in our former home, I have always been frustrated over the
yellow floor, and the small planks. The BOEN flooring that we have now is like a
blank canvas, and I can add gorgeous interior elements and let them shine.
The flooring has a matt surface that makes it more exclusive, and very photogenic.

We are a family of four, and with two small children, is it very important for us that
the floor is solid and can handle the daily use. We have experienced, with guidance
from the technical department at BOEN, we are able to brush away spots so the floor
looks flawless again.

As you can see, from this post, I have written this in cooperation with BOEN.
That is why it is important for me to express that BOEN didn’t find me, I found BOEN.

Everything that I have written here is in line with Aimforhappiness-
Visual inspiration from my visual world, and small glimpses of my everyday happiness.
