BOEN celebrates the growing trend for natural materials by launching Live Pure, a completely new surface finish
that brings your home even closer to nature by giving BOEN floors an untreated and completely natural look.
An oak hardwood floor with the “Live Pure” finish conveys the impression of freshly sawn wood in its natural state.
The surface looks naturally light, and preserves the naturalness of the wood – at the same time the surface is highly resistant.
This simple, yet extremely beautiful daybed designed by Anita Johansen for Menu, merges natural grey wool with an
ash frame. Perfect for the PURE NORDIC or the MODERN RUSTIC interior. With a seat in black leather it changes
Simply genius. This vase from Baltic Sea Glass consists of three mouthblown tubes with frosted tops, joined by rubber rings.
Choose flowers according to your style to decorate; perhaps MODERN RUSTIC peonies, CLASSIC ELEGANT roses,
PURE NORDIC tulips or URBAN CONTRAST branches.
The new dining chair Embrace, design EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn, has a precise wooden construction, and a
comfortable upholstered seat, which invites you to sit there for a long time … Perfect for the PURE NORDIC interior,
but equally at home in a CLASSIC ELEGANT home.
The designer Michael Anastassiades is quite simply a lighting genius; his IC series for Flos is already somewhat of a
design classic. The shape and materials are beautifully pure, the lamps are works of art that will fit into any interior style.
Aptly named, the Knockout tables, design Ida L Hildebrand for Friends and Founders, have a base in solid marble
or stone and a top in coated aluminium. The table combine functionality and form in an artistic way, and should
appeal to admirers of either the PURE NORDIC, CLASSIC ELEGANCE or URBAN CONTRAST styles.
Few things can beat the natural beauty of ceramics. The young Norwegian designer Hans Christian Bauer is the man
behind Hammershøi, the latest ceramic tableware from the historic Danish company Kähler – it is so elegant in its
simplicity that it will appeal to many people, and suit all styles, depending on what you match it against.
The curves, and the beautiful finish of the oiled walnut, makes the desk Harold, designed by Luca Nichetto for
De la Espada, a must-have for both the URBAN CONTRAST and the CLASSIC ELEGANT home.
Oak is one of our favourite materials, and these beautiful tables – Rang – by designers Stokke Austad for Tonning
certainly shows why. The two levels make them extremely functional as well, and the surface fits perfectly with
the natural trend
This timeless folding chair designed in 1955 by architect Mogens Lassen, was recently relaunched to mark the 60th
anniversary, and quickly became a favourite of the blog and design word. The natural light leather will age beautifully
– and is perhaps best suited for the PURE NORDIC or MODERN RUSTIC home.
